First-hand experience
Gustin sent us a pair of selvedge denim jeans to try for ourselves and the level of detail is immediately noticeable. Custom hardware throughout, classic stamped leather patch, bulletproof construction... they've nailed the fit, trim and finish — though we would recommend following suggestions to buy a size up from your normal measurement.
Each stage of the break-in has its own element of charm: from the classically crispy selvedge beginnings, to the neppy days that begin around week 3, to the first inklings of crease-setting (where we find ourselves at the time of writing). There's no doubt they will continue to age with grace the closer we get to 300+ wears.
