Founded in 2025 by textile artist Joy Mao, Chores creates space for a uniquely collaborative way of making in community.
Chores believes in the power of craft and collective storytelling to deepen relationships with ourselves, our communities, and our contexts. Through their work, they celebrate unseen labor, invite intimacy and presence, and bring magic to the mundane — honoring the everyday, collective efforts that transform our worlds.
